FNB Worst Service and experience EVER!!!!!!!
I opened a bank account with FNB plus minus 2 weeks ago. So after switching some of the debit order(as I have not heard again) if all are switched, I payed over money from my ABSA account to the FNB account. Only to find out 2 days later that the person where I picked up my card(FNB N1 City) never sent thru the copy of my ID as well as my proof of residence. So reason for this account was never activated and now according to them it will take 7 days for the money to be put back into my absa account. How is this possible? I emailed thru the documents to the fica department, but also emailed their complaints department. The manager of the N1 City branch phoned me to say he sorted everything out and I must just take my ID to the closest FNB, so I said I will go to TygerValley branch. The lady there was very helpful and after plus minus 45min she said that everything is sorted and the manager of N1 City never did anything. Last night my daughter paid over money from her FNB to mine so that there is money in for the debit order. Still nothing has come thru. This morning one of them went off and now I have to dock up an extra R103 because there was no money in the account. I refuse to pay this money as if the people working in the branches know how to do their jobs this would never have happened. There is probably going to go off more debit order and then how much do they want to let me pay and this because of them? I really feel like closing this account, because all I had with it is problems. The say that FNB is the best bank? I dont know about that anymore.
