FNB - Worst bank ever
My husband died almost a year ago. FNB has frozen his account. Although I have submitted all required documentation, I have been struggling for months now to close his account. They are also charging monthly banking fees for a frozen account with no monthly transactions. I have been forced to open an acount with FNB, as according to the staff, they will only transfer his funds to another FNB account. Now I am paying banking fees for an account I do not want, and every time I enquire about my husband's frozen account, the branch cannot give me any answers. Although the staff was friendly, this is the worst runaround I have experienced. Every month I am assured that the branch cannot close his account, because they are waiting for head office. Calls and online enquiries also got me nowhere.
