FNB wont let me settle my account ???

I called the personal loans call center on 11/12/2015 at approximately 8:15AM. to request a settlement letter to settle my account, and to my surprise i was told this was impossible. This was all due to the fact that my debit order was to deduct the installment from my account on the 15th December. and i was politely advised that if i made payment the installment amount would still have been deducted and i would not get a refund. \isn't that *****ING?"

I have been a loyal FNB customer for over 10 years and slowly but surely i will be closing my accounts and moving elsewhere. Their cannot assist policy is unacceptable.

I am also sure nothing will be done to rectify this issue as FNB probably thinks it has more that enough docile customers in their pool that will blatantly accept its dictatorship. I for one will not.

Dane Strauss """
