FNB won't help you in your time of need, although they claim to want to help.

I am abroad and urgently needed help upgrading my account to a cheque account. The assistants have tried to assist. I was promised two call backs. I got nothing just empty promises. Even a manager was meant to call me and I have heard nothing. Three promises and still nothing. I'm seriously considering changing bank accounts as soon as I get back to SA. It is unfortunate because I actually was happy with FNB. But when I really needed them. They just didn't care.
