FNB wont close my credit account

On the 30th of March 2019, I went to the FNB, Hillcrest, Pretoria branch to close my credit card. I was told I need to fill in form, because they cant close the account at the branch; so I fill in the forms and they tell me it will take 3 to 5 day, cool. After 5 (7 non-working days) days my account is still open, so i enquire using their chat app, to suddenly be told, that my forms are there, but have not been put on the system. So the person I'm chatting to says she has put my request through. I wait another 5 working days, and my account is not closed. I make another enquiry on their chat app, and I'm told the request is on the system, so he cant do anything and I must contact credit card directly to enquire, and he gives me a number. I call that number and I get redirected 7 times (the first 10 min of that call was just me being redirected); once I get a hold of someone and tell them my problem, the first thing she tells me is I must send an email, so unequivocally tell her no, because nowhere during this process did any one tell me I must do this over email. She relents and says she will send the email and the account will be closed 24 to 48 hours.

Guess what the account is still open. You know how you can help me FNB? Close my credit account.
