FNB will not pay because my mother died 24 hours to early

On the 13th September 2016 I visited a FNB branch to do some banking. A FNB staff member sold me an extra death policy and I thought it will do no harm to take an additional death policy. On Saturday my mother pass away and on Monday the 13th March 2017 I contacted FNB Life to submit a claim. The consultant who answered the phone inform me that If your mother pass away today (Monday) and not on Saturday we would have paid out the policy. The premium was debited from my account on the 10th of every month and my next premium is only due on the 10th of April 2017.

Thank you FNB and thank God I am in a position to give my mother a decent funeral without your policy. I can imagine how I would have felt if I had to depend on this money to give my mother a decent burial and you inform me that my mother pass away 24 hours to early.

I will give you written instructions to cancell this policy as soon as possible because I realy don't know what the next excuse will be if I must make another claim. I will also transfer all my accounts to another Bank because I now realy feel uncomfotable to continue to Bank with FNB.
