FNB.. What went wrong??????
On Sunday an unauthorized debit order went through from my FNB bank account.. We had an agreement of R500 pm however to my surprise a debit order of R2793.30 went through. So I knew that i would not be able to reverse the debit order from the app because it over R2000 but I went ahead and tried thinking that since there is lock down I might be able to reverse on the app and I couldn't be prepared for the message I got that I must request my service provider to reverse the debit order.. I was so shook. I felt so betrayed by the bank that I've been with for 11 years and i have been defending it..complimenting it to anyone who cared to listen.. When people said they are leaving FNB because it's expensive I refused to leave because I thought the service was worth every penny. I've even convinced some of my friends to join FNB and some did. Today I have an egg on my face. I went around asking everyone if their banks are refusing to reverse their debit order to my surprise no, it's only the MIGHTY FNB... Furthermore to think my banking charges for this month were R606.. I am so distraught by these shenanigans.. I tried calling the premier banking today without any avail.

Dear FNB can you kindly reverse this debit order. You are not party to the agreement with my service provider. Please serve ME your loyal customer. I am paying your monthly fees and I expect you to act in my best interest. This R2793.30 is my livilihood.. I am the breadwinner in my household.
I sincerely hope you have empathy on me and many other customers (the FNB timeline on Hello Peter is flooded with complaints) that are faced with the same predicament as me. I am in bad financial state because of this pandemic and this debit order has really crippled me financially. I really enjoyed banking with you over the years and I trust this can be resolved in an amicable manner
Regards Your loyal customer
