FNB Website gives different info than call centre

I am a FNB private banking client. I have a petrol card linked to my account with AA assistance. My husbands car broke down on Sunday afternoon. His car's fan belt snapped. I phone the number on my petrol card and went through to a fnb call centre. I was then told that they only pay for towage in 'n 40 km radius. I looked at the website and saw that they have on there that if your car breaks down more than 100 km from your residence that they will book you into a guest house and tow your car. They also say that if your car breaks down and you are unsafe they will send someone to keep you safe. My husbands car broke down on the N1 to polokwane at a informal settlement. No guard was sent we were told that if he wants to book in to a guest house we must first pay the amount and we are going to be charged extra for towing. Long story short they eventually sent a tow truck it cost us just over R1600 to have car towed back to Kempton park 113km. The tow truck driver from the AA stoped at the first one stop and my husband had to give him the cash before he would tow the car any further. I don't know why FNB gives false information on there website but please be aware if you think you are covered you are not.
