FNB WACK SERVICE
If only I was able to give a zero rating, unfortunately that option isn't available. 2023 beginning of October I settled an account with lawyers (GL Attorneys) that FNB had handed me over to, note: I was given a discount by them and advised that I should contact the bank to write off the remaining balance as they have closed the account on their side or at least nothing much they could do everything else was with FNB. I have called the bank several times without success, until one day after being transferred from pillar to post on the 23/11/2023 finally got through one lady in - collection department or private wealth (Ms/Mrs N. Mkane) who was willing to help and went an extra mile. She advised that I send an email with the full story and details including the settlement letter from the attorneys to her and was going to escalate the matter, which she did. Matter was apparently escalated to FNB's legal department, at first they told her I was still liable for the balance, then when I asked how if I was handed over then got a compromised settlement balance from GL Attorneys to pay up in order to close off account and was advised by their consultant (Mr J.Masonganyani) that FNB was responsible for remaining balance write off since the account was closed on their side....?? the lady went back to them and was still awaiting response from FNB's legal dpt. Fast forward, followed up with the lady on the 8/12/2023 also on the 11/12/2023 then got her response saying, she still did not receive feedback that time from FNB legal department. It is now over 2 months later and feedback from legal department is still pending... at this point I do not know what to do with this matter or where to take it anymore. All I can say is FNB is WACK and must stop 🛑 asking stupid questions like "how can we help you" because they don't understand what customer service means!!!!
