FNB Very Poor - we expect better - we pay you for the service you offer
I have found the service at FNB pretty disappointing - it happened about 2 months back at the Bedford Centre branch, was informed via message about renewing my bank card, when I entered the bank, was first told my number (the counter machine was not working) and then it was CONFUSION after that. People saying I'm before or after you - and then some FNB Ladies change their positions / also some are no longer to be seen - I rate this service as VERY POOR or PATHETIC - I mean you would as a customer expect better service - they only exist because we the public bank with them Another complaint I have and there is a compliment going forward or is it? I suppose it may not just be FNB, but all the banking sector are Overcharging us the customer (we are 1 of the most expensive in the World) - and then they have made it that if you want to deposit, anything below R20k must be at the ATM - so they save on employment costs and we save on deposit fees WIN WIN OR is it ? not if its month end with a enormous line to wait in - and definitely not to those who were dismissed / lost their jobs
I have another COMPLAINT, not at any branch but to FNB and to all the banking sector in SA!
As mentioned in my previous complaint
just a recap on how we are Overcharged for a service we pay for (1 of the highest in the World)
Not sure how FNB fares amongst the other SA banks, as far as customer base
(who has more numbers banking with them) - but it would seem ABSA has the most ATM's
in the Country then followed by ? ? ? FNB seems to have the least amount of ATM's.
I may be wrong and it may also be area based (as I don't know each banks share of customers) - it's just my perception
If we are being Overcharged by the banks in SA, surely we need to be better served as the customer is the reason they exist
