FNB using RAM Couriers

FNB was supposed to deliver a parcel using Ram Couriers. I was told it would be delivered to my house yesterday, so I made sure I was working from home in order to receive the parcel. At 16h30 someone calls and says they won't be able to deliver and they need to reschedule.

So I made sure I was at the house today, but decided to track the parcel, only to find that the driver of the previous day said that he tried to contact me 3 times, even though I had no voicemails or missed calls, but even worse though, was the fact that there was no delivery booked for today either.

When I called their Pretoria office and spoke to their "manager" William, he first said that they couldn't find my road. When I asked if he had a cell phone with Google Maps, I would show him how easy it is to find my road, he said the drivers DON'T HAVE GPS'S in their vehicles. Then he decided to put the blame on me, saying they tried 3 times to call me.

He then assured me the parcel would be delivered today. I asked him to please ensure that the driver phones me, or phone him before he leaves my property to ensure that I receive it today. It is 19h00, and no one called or came to my door. Surprise, surprise, when I went to track my parcel on their site, they said they again couldn't get hold of me, even though there are no missed calls, or voicemails, and no one rang the door bell.

Do yourselves a favour, and stick with reputable companies. I can't believe FNB would choose to partner with such *********** companies.
