FNB uses generic responses to cover up their flaws
I'm less than impressed with FIRST NATIONAL BANK.
I refuse to believe that my account had insufficient funds on the 24th when MultiChoice collected their debit order.
This Noni character called me without having done her information firstly. She put me on hold so she can go through my account. To show that zero prep or "investigating" was done.
Secondly, she claims my account had insufficient funds as my account charges had gone off. That is absurd! Those charges only go off on the 25th of every month. This explanation is generic and a means for the bank to continue ******** us. A PROPER investigation needs to be made here. I'll ask again, if my account had insufficient funds then HOW was I able to make the electricity purchase on that very same day, AFTER MultiChoice had successfully debited my account? Also, where have those funds disappeared to because they were available.
How can TWO consultants concur with the same scenario (that funds were available when the debit order was collected) on different occasions that I'd called in to query this matter. For which the first gentleman I spoke to, namely Cebile who opened the case on the 28th of February and Sbongile who followed up and also checked the account and concluded the same, that there were funds available. Who preceeded to follow up on the matter.
FNB needs to honestly tell me what happened and refund that debit order. I am not willing to pay double for a service I endured was provided for.
I need truthful answers and not generic responses for you to cover up your flaws.
I am not accepting this at all.
