FNB Update of earlier review - Service has actually deteriorated

If I could give this service provider minus rating I would. I tried to make a purchase a Jet Gateway at approximately 09:30, it was for an amount of R 1205.00. To be put onto a Jet store gift voucher. The transaction was successful initially however the manager advised that there was an issue on their side and as a result the transaction did not go through on their side. . The store manager then contacted FNB merchant services to reverse the transactions I waited in the store until the reversal was done. I received an email from FNB confirming the reversal amount of R 1205.00 at 10:23am. Before I left the store the store manager Thamsanga gave me the reference he received from merchant services it was RP**********. I WANT TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR I LEFT THE STORE WITHOUT ANY GOODS OR GIFT VOUCHER!!!!!!!!!!! However, after a week I saw that the R 1205.00 has still not been paid into my credit card and I therefore contacted FNB card services on the Saturday 05 December 2020. I spoke with Warren and was advised that the reversal transaction with clear on Monday 07 December 2020. The reference for this call as RJ**********. However, the funds were not paid back to my account. I contacted FNB card services again, I spoke with Refilewe only to be told that there is nothing she can do as she could see that the funds was not paid back. When I tried to ascertain how I can move forward in order to resolve this, she cut my call. She didn't even have the courtesy of calling me back to resolve the issue, I am quiet sure she had my details as she asked me to confirm my name and contact number as part of the verification process at the start of the call. Further to this it was quiet hard to hear her as she may have been working from home since there were noisy children in the back ground. Working from home does not mean that levels of customer service standards must drop. I made 3 more calls to FNB cards services this afternoon but after a few minutes the consultant just cuts my call with no resolution in sight. Only after posting a negative review on hellopeter did FNB issue me with a reference number via email ***NF. On the 30th December 2020 I received an email to say a temp credit of R 1205.00 was paid into my credit card account until such time the matter was resolved with the retail vendor. On the 05 January 2021 I emailed FNB once more and asked if the matter was resolved and if I could utilize the temp credit or transfer the credit I didn't want to be in position were I spent the funds only for FNB to say I need to pay it back as my credit card owing balance was NIL prior to the temp credit being issued. I settled my credit card balance to avoid bank charges. I have received no feedback. I even left a message on their website inquiries page but still no feedback. It is quiet irritating that my issue has been going on for a month now and there is no resolution in sight. I have sent numerous emails and web inquiries and FNB is yet to actually contact me directly. WHAT MUST A CUSTOMER DO TO GET FEEDBACK!!!!!

This is really quite frustrating. I have received yet another reference number but FNB is yet to call me to let me know if the issue has been resolved.

Still no concrete feedback from FNB. I was promised that a consultant will call me. But there as been no call. Only a vague email which does not confirm if the issue has been resolved with the vendor or confirmation that i can transfer the temp credit to my personal cheque account or utilise the credit. As by owing balance was settled with FNB before credit was issued.
