FNB unprofessional
I received an email from FNB to do my fica compliance and complete attached forms. I was to return completed and signed forms, together with copy of my i.d and proof of address. Because I did not have access to a printer and most of all did not feel comfortable sending my personal information on email I went into the branch in greenacres port elizabeth to do my fica compliance. I waited in the queue for more than an hour. I was eventually helped and I completed all the forms and signatures required. I provided all the documents they requested. The service agent told me everything is up to date and done. That was on Monday 18 October 2021. Today once again I get an email from FNB telling me that I've been given more than enough chances to provide them with the required documents for my fica compliance and they will have to freeze my account. Immediately thereafter I received another email stating that they seem to have received some of the documents however, I still have to complete the source of income form or they will freeze my account. After all of the trouble I took to go into the branch, I was continuously harassed with emails threatening my account being frozen. I told them to go ahead and do whatever they wanted. They could also speak to there service agent who assisted me at the branch if they needed any further information.
This is totally unacceptable. Instead of me doing all this by email I went to all the trouble of going to the branch and still it's not good enough. Extremely unprofessional. They can go ahead and freeze my account, I will take my business to a professional bank.
