FNB ********LY WITHHOLDING MY MONEY THAT THEIR ATM DID NOT CAPTURE

FNB is probably the worst bank out there. on 10 May 2021 I want to their Giyani Branch at Masingita Mall to make a deposit at one of their ATMs. To my surprise the ATM accepted the money but the person I was sending to did not receive it and I also did not get any receipt from the ATM. The security at the said ATM advised me to go inside the branch to inquire of which I did. I was told that I would receieve the refund within 48 hours and was asked to fill in a form. I had to make the deposit again to the said person as the money was needed that day. A week later I went to the bank as I had not received the refund. I was told that the other money could not be refunded to me but would be paid to the person I was trying to make the deposit to. This did not make sense to me as I was merely buying something from the person I was making the deposit to and could therefore not pay them twice for the same service. I told them that I need the money to be paid back to me and not the other person as I had already paid them. They then said that they will call me in a weeks time. To this day FNB has not refunded the money to me and during a global pandemic one can imagine the financial strain a majority of us are facing. I am really disappointed that I am being treated unfairly by a big cooperation such as FNB and would STRONGLY advise anyone from engaging in any form of banking with them.
