FNB try to put your customer first - resolve this issue ASAP

In 2016 I attempted to close my FNB account with no success since there was an amount of R500 outstanding. At the end of the month when I went to pay the R500 it had increased to R700 and has been escalating ever since despite being handed over and being in debt review and TRYING TO PAY OFF R5,000. My R500 is not making a dent in paying off the account. I have been to the bank and the called the call centre to try and downgrade or suspend the account with no success (as this was the advice given to me by FNB.

Since 2016 I have not used the account at all, I am trying to make an effort to get my affairs in order but FNB is relentless and unhelpful.

All I want is for you to close the account, when you handed me over for R3700 less my payments of R1500 - I will pay in cash R2,200 immediately to close the account. You can put your terms & conditions in that I can never do business with FNB, as I dont want to do business with you ever again.
