FNB TREATS DISABLED PEOPLE LIKE LEPERS

My husband has being with FNB for approximately 20 years, his business account, personal account, credit card and home loan. Late last year he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 49. We requested disability documents from FNB, which were received. These were duly completed by our GP as well as the Neurologist. On the 14th Feb, I drove my husband to the FNB, off Beyers Naude and he personally handed the documentation in to a lady dealing with home loans called Thando. He was told that they would confirm via email receipt and place on his file. He had short paid his bond in February and was awaiting cash from our tenants to settle the amount of R2000.00. Since the 15th Feb, my husband has received a call EVERY MORNING from FNB asking where the money is and why has he cancelled his debit order and when can they expect further payment. EVERY MORNING my husband stammers and stutters, (he cannot pronounce his words properly and becomes extremely anxious) that this is what happened, who he saw and who he has spoken to. EVERY MORNING, he gets the same answer from a specialized idiot at FNB that says, "there is nothing on file, but I will speak to Thando, I know who she is". REALLY FNB, is this how you treat your clients that are disabled, I cannot imagine how you must treat you staff if they were diagnosed with a critical illness or were disabled? Get your act together, these call are recorded and I have no hesitation of taking this as far as I can. I will NOT ALLOW you to treat my husband like a piece of ****, and no, I have not taken the calls as he simply wants to retain his dignity and speak to you himself. Shame on you FNB, ****** disgusting behaviour!!!
