FNB TRAVEL INSURANCE *****

Hi,

I am a premier meber at FNB with a platinum card.

Prior to booking my trip to Zambia, I contact my team of premier bankers to verify that if I use my debit card to book the tickets, will I get travel insurance. They verified that I indeed will be covered.

Unfortunately, during the trip, my child fell and bumped her head, due to which she got a fit and became unconcious.

We rushed her to hospital, and the doctors claimed that she has to go for a CT scan.

I contact my premier banking to ask about the insurance, but first they refferred me to Europassist, who said they do not have a contract with FNB anymore. Then they reffered me to TIC who said that they cannot assist without a policy number. Then they gave me a number of another compnay who also said they cannot assist. And now FNB ignores my emails/calls.

This is really upsetting, since I expected FNB to be more reliable.

If anyone needs to book a trip overseas, rather use the credit/debit card of a more reliable bank.

Regards,

Ismail
