FNB Transaction reversal blunder.

On the 11 Oc 21 I attempted to purchase something online. The next morning on the 12 Oct 21 I contacted FNB and asked them to reverse the transaction, bearing in mind it was to a different bank and it usually takes 48 hours to clear, FNB refused and told me to open a ***** case at SAPS. Which I did. I was then only contacted by a FNB case official on the 18 October 2021. Various emails have gone back a forth. On the 19 Jan 2022 I had enough, I then complained at FNB customer care , a case number was generated. The very next day I was told by my case official that the bank I had transferred the money to had finally gotten back to FNB and the money transferred is out of that account......really. FNB waited until I had complained just to tell me sorry can't help you! This is unacceptable. I feel FNB dragged its feet.

To whom it may concern. FNB told me that they would get back to me and they did. After I complained on this platform. They only told me that after three months the funds where no longer in the account I paid it into and they can’t help. Firstly within the 24 hour window after making the payment, I contacted them to cancel the transaction and reverse it. They would not. Please note that this was not a direct payment or into a another FNB account. The money was still in limbo! FNB told me that I must open a ***** case which I did, but only to tell me that they can’t help me three months later. The worst service I have ever received. Currently they have told me that they would get back to me, numerous emails inquiring about the status of my affairs, three weeks later and no response! Big bank with no regard for the little guy.
