FNB Transaction Recall Poor Service

on the 28 and 29th September i paid R1000 and R4000 into an incorrect account at FNB. After contacting the call centre and my Standard Bank it turned out that the money needed to be reversed at FNB. No one at FNB could give me the correct advice. I eventually went to FNB Hyde Park and got no satisfaction there as well. Today 24th October i decided as a last resort to contact the call centre for cheques. I found that the money went into a wrong account and that a reversal form needs to be filled in. I was told that if the money has been spent i will be lucky to get the my money back. In addition , after 30 days period, no guarantees. However, FNB sent me from pillar to post not knowing what to do. Is this my fault? I am at my wits end and resort to Hello Peter to get focus on this issue. my ref number received from reversals is 1- ********** 390 please help.

Reviewer Update
After numerous calls and a last resort call to FNB call centre, I submitted a reversal form to FNB. Even though the comments from Naomi above were communicated to Standard Bank, Standard could not do a recall. Further calls and emails from Client Support specialist re iterating the above, I was left very frustrated. And to my dismay I got an email from FNB Credit Card requesting proof of payment. At 6pm today, I looked at my Discovery Credit card and my R 5000 was correct and credited to my Discovery Credit Card. Problem resolved. What a relief. Lessons learnt.
