FNB - Totally Unacceptable Service
I am stuck in Ireland and needed to draw more than what my international daily limit allowed. I Went online to change it. Online let me change all limits........ except international limit!
I emailed fnb, called fnb, secure messaged fnb.....
I received lovely auto replies from email, then I got a message, I was hopeful but after I rep**** to the email with the questions answered........ no comeback.
Got hold of a person on secure message, was great, tried to get answers for me, kept coming back to me, was wonderful. Called me and then put me through to the relevant dept. Relevant dept said no, you need to be at another dept, no suggestions or questions asked, just assumed they knew what I wanted and forwarded me to some more irritating music and I held on for ever.
While listening to the most excruciatingly irritating music my mobile airtime was eaten up, call card eaten up and still no answers.
I secure messaged again, this time got a different person who was not willing to help like the person before under any circumstances, simply said here's the number to call. Sorry we are busy.
I couldn't get through to that number.
My email, messages and calls were all headed with Urgent need atm limit increased subjects. urgent reply needed, please assist urgently.
But still I am stranded with not enough to pay for what I needed urgently today.
I don't understand why on my internet banking you are able to up all the limits, except the international one. It would have been so simple.
Also, why couldn't the help centre help me, they verified who I am, id and all but could not assist. Why?
Why after sending an URGENT email for answers and I answer their questions immediately and then no reply for the rest of the day....... the email was URGENT!
Disgusting service by FNB.
I'm still waiting for a reply to my email.
