FNB TOTAL INCOMPETENCE
I received a call from Kishan Ransager last week Wednesday 08th April 2020 @ 08:55am, he apologized for him closing my account with my approval and we discussed me having the credit card account re-activated. He advised that he would try his best to get it re-instated, if not a new card application would then need to be opened. He re-assured me that he will still communicate and update me on the 08th, till today I have not received a call advising me what the status is!
I called FNB on Thursday and spoke to a customer service consultant named Nhlamulo Chauke who advised me that he could see the credit card will still in escalation and he cannot advise further. He sent an email to Kishan and requested him to call me and provide me with an update, I as well sent an email to Kishan and till now no response.
This morning the 14th April 2020,I get a call from Deshnie Naicker @10:09 am from Credit card application, advising me that they have not received a signed quote, they need this in order to process the application. She cannot provide me with an update as to who allocated her this application to run with nor can she give me details about the status of my initial credit card account . She advised she was going to get her boss Bryan Sambo to contact me and she will send him an email and copy me in, till now 11:30am I have had not seen any such correspondence being sent.
I just dont understand how FNB can hire such people working as Managers who cannot take responsibility for their mistakes and ensure the customer is taken care of and provide efficient service. There is no satisfaction I am getting from my bank whatsoever.
FNB is really testing my patience regarding this escalation and I am now thinking of using another bank moving forward.
I am still very dis-satisfied with the manner in which FNB has handled this situation, my credit card facility was closed in error by Retention Banker (Kishan Ramsager) on the 24 March 2020 @ 06:46 AM. Today being the 24th April 2020 and more than a month later, I had to fight and constantly complain to get my credit card facility re-opened, however this is now at the cost of a new application!
I called FNB Credit Card and spoke to Tshepiso Mangena, who has finally escalated my complaint (CASE# F2B3V0) and request to motivate to Credit Card division about re-instating my initial limit and interest rate facilities which I had on my credit card profile!
Actually Kishan was the person who was supposed to escalate this and also motivate further to obtain better interest rates after having a look at my profile over the +/- 15 years I have been with you guys.
I do hope that by latest on 06th May FNB Credit card division will provide me with feedback and offer me better rates and service.
