Fnb to fnb transaction disappointment

I am really frustrated with this fnb to fnb payments that do not clear immediately. I made a payment around 08h00pm and more than 12hrs later it still has not cleared or reflected in my account despite online banking saying the payment was successful even took a screenshot of the reference number of the payment because no notifications were coming through. When I call FNB how can we help you this morning their consultants are telling me it can take up to 24hrs to clear fnb to fnb transactions!! Their own pamphlet said it takes up to 8hrs to reflect. This is such bad service how can internal transactions take that long??? I am seriously rethinking changing banks. This is poor service and am really disappointed.

The notification regarding fnb follow up on hellopeter review was much faster than the fnb to fnb transaction I did. This has since been resolved, I did get the money. Fnb really needs to look into restoring the fnb to fnb instant clearing of payments. This was the only reason I chose fnb to fnb transaction...for its reputation for fast processing within clients. Now the edge fnb had is being eroded by these painful experiences that can be avoided.
