FNB: THEIR PORTFOLIO ANALYST AND THE QUESTION OF WHICH LITTLE BOX AM I.
I already received an offer on my house that was in the market to be sold. At this stage I needed funds to finalize the COC certificate for the property to be sold. On 6 February 2019 I spoke to a portfolio analyst Sengeni at via phone. After explaining the process that the offer was received and the buyer was also approved and it was just a formality, if it is possible for FNB to help finance an amount, my bank since 1996 for 23 years. The response from the portfolio analysts was “ASK YOUR CHILDREN TO PAY THE EXPENSES” The problem with the statement is, for a portfolio analyst who has my information at hand, would see I am not married. My question then is does she implies that I have illegitimate children that I can ask for money. Now as in the song little boxes, do I get placed in the cultural box where children are responsible to pay for their parents expenses, little black tax box. Or do FNB give training on how to classify customers into boxes to correct the injustices of the past, just waiting for that one customer to call, and test the training on that one customer I suppose was me this time. On the 31 August I complained on the website. On 20 September I called complaints no ***Q. Since then I was placed in the “silent/do no answer” box. After Paying R 360 000 interest on my bond and about R 60 000 in banking fees, for a total of +/- R420 000, FNB now moved me to the box “of no interest no money to be made” box. Amounts calculated from statements yes I do have them for 23 years Now my house is sold, and I wonder in which little Box FNB and Sengeni puts me now!! It surely is time to put FNB in closed account box.
