FNB THE WORST EVER

This is the only business /bank that I'm failing to make progress on regardless of the number of complaints submitted or even chatting with consultants via the app.... FNB has handed my account over to debt collectors, i have made arrangements to pay and I'm still paying, however my query is, the balance keeps going up, penalty fees are added, although i have also mentioned my intensions to close the account and the same account has not been active since April 2023,no salary, no transactions nothing... I've been battling with this for almost a year now and no progress has been made. I'm even thinking of deactivating the debit order because I'm not winning, everytime i send reviews i get private responses where I'm told that I'm unfortunately liable to pay the account. No explanations given as to why they're adding penalty fees, and what they are not getting is that i don't have a problem paying the account i know I'm liable, however i have a problem paying and I'm not making any progress, eventually I'm going to stop altogether. I want a public response this time so that other FNB customers can see this review and make informed decisions about this bank, nothing is as it seems and that's why i want to close this account forever and never look back
