FNB the worst bank ever!

I purchased 3 plane tickets on Monday to the value of just on 25000.00. The money was held back and I was left with a balance of 16000. This morning, Friday, another payment of 25000 was deducted. No problem, call my 34 hour banking team, right? WRONG! Im told to go and fill a form at the bank to have the money reversed! You took the money without permission and now I have to take my worktime to go fill a form? Bad bank that can't even count? Time to terminate my account!

Your apology cannot be accepted before the money is returned in full. I have to pay First Car rental for a rental car this morning or hand the car back. My account is now R8600. 00 in arrears. I cant pay for food over the weekend either. Your bank has a habit of double deductions on my account. BE CLEAR. THAT MONEY WILL BE RETURNED TODAY. FAILING THAT, ILL CHAIN MYSELF TO YOUR BUILDING TOMORROW MORNING IN FULL VIEW OF THE MEDIA. I will not wait 7 days for the return of the money.

Thanking you for the return of the money. This is unfortunately NOT the first time. About a year ago, there was an attempted ***** which originated from your Carnival Mall branch for around 20000.00. You have attempted several double deductions after that. This morning, at the Boksburg branch, your consultant made it clear that its my fault because there was insufficient funds on Sunday when the tickets were purchased. R37000 was not enough to cover 25000? Then he accused me of giving the merchant my pin number? An OTP is a one time pin which the merchant, Ethiopian air does not have privy to. You should train your consultants better. They suck this type of nonsens from their tbumbs. GEEZ...

THIS IS MY ANSWER TO FNB'S REPLY BELOW.

Dear Sir.

Thanking you for the speedy service in rectifying this matter.

It was a harrowing experience and made worse by the Private bankers call center who just referred me back to the bank branch.

At the branch, I was further infuriated by the attitude of the male assistant who told me to go to the merchant, Ethiopian Airlines and ask them for the return of the money and an apology.

Then he suggested that it was my fault for paying on Sunday while there were insufficient funds in my account.

When I corrected him, he told me that I'm the one who gave the merchant my card number and my pin and that I'm therefore the cause of the predicament.

Is this FNB's take on accountability?

I still cant feel my left hand. Earlier in the week I tried to pay my accounts and found that all my limits, which were set 12 years ago, were dropped to rediculous levels.

I could not pay my gardener 300.00 by ewallet.

My new card was not delivered to me because the person delivering it, by arrangement , was refusing to hand my wife the card before she proves that she is a legal immigrant and show him her permit!

FNB NEEDS TO PERFECT THEIR CURRENT SERVICES BEFORE ATTEMPTING A HUNDRED NEW ONES. YOU'RE LOSING YOUR CURRENT CLIENTS IN THE HUNT FOR NEW ONES!
