FNB the promising bank

I am a Platinum FNB account holder while my mother a Gold FNB account holder, both accounts older than 30 years. We lost my step father on 11 May 2016 and need to submit proof of account to the Pension fund so that we can fund my frail mother at a frail care centre. A simple piece of paper, that should be easy, .... Or not. No, I have to drag my bedridden mom into the nearest branch for her to make such application. They will come to my or any residence to open an account, but they will not go to my mother at the frail care centre to assist her. The Sunward park branch, the manager at the Witbank branch and even a request to the National customer service centre resulted in information for what they cannot do rather than how to solve this predicament. The Hello Peter grading of 2 from 5 stars is therefor valid from my experience. What is the closing statement from their current advert: say good-bye to the manaqger because I am also leaving - to any other bank but FNB. Rather sad after more than 30 years.
