FNB.. The lies and deceit. A true story!

On 02/03/2018, I was contacted by FNB offering me a a very lucrative banking package. The offer was so good in fact that it rivaled my existing bank rates , charges and offerings! After the agent was done with his sales pitch, he requested my financial information, where he ran a credit check to confirm how much I would qualify for on a credit card (which would be added to the premiere bundle I was offered). The information I gave to him was correct as confirmed by a call center agent who responded to my initial complaint.

The documentation that was requested from me was submitted on 02/03/2018. I subseqently received about 7 emails requesting the outstanding document.s

The limits I was offered and granted when the initial call was made had subsequently changed after I submitted my documentation. The call that was made was the initial pre agreement. Now FNB ahs the audacity to tell me that the signed document (indicating the same amounts) was the pre agreement - what nonsense! The arrogance is breath taking.

After I responded to the complaints member - Byron Vallar, nothing, zip, nada! I am still waiting for his manager to contact me.

I call the call center number for complaints and they say the complaint is not logged on my ID number.

There are several issues that I have with the service I'm being offered, but the biggest it the falsification of information that the sales agent did to entice me to accept the account. He is in contravention of the FAIS Act. The sales agent is bound by the FAIS Act to capture, correctly all information that I provide to him and then to present the relevant options to me so that I can make an INFORMED decision. The sales agent failed to capture the correct information and thereby enticed me in to accepting a product that does not suit my needs.

Refer to complaints reference number: ********** NF.

Somebody contact me to resolve the sub par customer experience. It's pathetic to be honest. There is so much more that I want to vent about but really I have no stamina for this.
