FNB - THE GIFT THAT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING!!!

I was contacted recently by CCD couriers who told me that my new FNB credit card is due to be delivered(which I was not even aware of) and that they wanted to deliver it to me. When they delivered my card to me I signed th parcel and opened the evenlobe to discover 3 things:

1. It was NOT a new credit card but a new petrol card that they delivered to me. I am not sure why they sent me a new one - my current petrol card only expires in October 2018. and I NEVER ordered a new petrol card. Clearly someone working at FNB lacks maths literacy.

2. My name was not put on my card propertly and they changed the format - despite them telling me that when I opened my account with them in 2008 they "standardise" all cards for their customers and that the format shows full name and surname - just like on a person's ID - this time they changed it and just put my initials on.

So here's the deal - I am going to return the petrol card at the NewMarket Branch and FNB is going to issue me a NEW Petrol card, bearing the my full name and surname and make sure they get the expiry dates right - and they are going to do it at THEIR expense - because this is not my fault that they make mistakes like this over and over again, nor is it my fault that they have staff members who possess NO mathematical literacy or common sense i.e. not knowing the difference between 2018 and 2017.

If they wanted to save all this hassle all that FNB had do to was ask one of their representatives to pick up a telephone(if they even know what that is) and call me to discuss and inform me of their intentions - then all of this would have been prevented.

:)

This is Terrible Service. I seriously wish FNB would catch a wake up!
