FNB **** that I app**** for a cheque account after doing an unauthorised credit inquiry in my name

FNB did a credit inquiry without my consent on my name when I went to open an Easy Pay U account at their Edendale Mall, Pietermaritzburg branch on the 17th of February 2025. My credit score dropped from 649 to 631. I wasn't even there to apply for any type of credit but to open an Easy PAY U account and I communicated that to the consultant.

I went into my credit record and disputed the inquiry with Experian since I never app**** for any Cheque account or any credit and FNB rep**** and **** that I app**** for a cheque account and was assisted by a consultant
