FNB TFSA
TFSA
I gave instructions for the FNB bank to have a part of my TFSA TRANSFERED to Absa Tax Free Saving Account, this took place in May2019,The bank instead of transfering the money to Absa put the money into their suspense account, inspite me sending repeated emails and phoning the staff at the Umgeni Junction Branch of FNB not to do so as i will lose my tax benefits, i have repeatedly made calls for FNB to have money put back to my TFSA , but to date due their inefficiencies, i have not received any joy from them (FNB). I approached the manager of the Umgeni Junction Branch in Durban, and he was very rude to me , and stated that he does not want to have anything to do with the me or my issue, instead he got his staff to logde a complain to the customer call centre. This is the man who supposed to be representing FNB in the front line has no care for its clients, this is very disturbing to me being a shareholder and a client of FNB. My personall feeling is that some of the staff just do not care for the clients and also they do not have a knowledge of the products that FNB offers, many times i have had personal experience that the public are more knowledgable than the managers and staff of FNB. Some of the staff and managers should be relieved of their duties and replaced with people who can be proud to work for FNB and fly high the FNB flag. I hope that is matter is resolved ASAP and i do not have to wait another 4 months.
reply from FNB: on the 4th October 2019 As of date nothing has been done now its almost 7 months passed Apologies for the delayed response.
Please note that FNB has reached a decision for you to reverse the amount that was incorrectly transferred from your Tax free account to this Control account:***. Kindly use your Tax free account number as a reference for this transfer.
Feel free to contact us for further assistance on ***/ ***.
