FNB Taking Too Long To Close A Paid Up Account

Paid off a credit card 10 days ago and asked FNB to close it but the account is still open even today! I have raised this with FNB, I was told not to worry and they even sent me a paid up letter, so I don't know why they are struggling to close the account for this long. Please help close this account FNB
