FNB Take Me Home Service

So being the festive season and having so many parties and festive get togethers i made use for the first time, my FNB Take Me Home Service (Ref: 8X-L4UR-01)- This was linked to my "Private Clients" Petro card.

The process off calling in and registering... as well as choosing your pickup and dropp off locations was seamless and wonderful.

21:30 7 December 2016, the drivers arrived to pick me and 2 friends up in my vehicle, i handed over the car keys. The gentleman jumped in my vehicle and reversed- straight into a concrete column with my car.

All of us shocked at what just happend, the gentle man drove forward- him and myself jumped out to asses the damage that had just occured. The gentleman apologiesed profucely for what he had just done.

Anyways we jumped back in the vehicle and carried on the trip.

5-7min later- This is when i became annoyed, and quite frankly unhappy... the apology from the gentleman then tuned into a self defense stance. Where he balmmed my windows and side mirrors for being to dirty to drive and this and that.

This is totallu uneccessary, mistakes happen. And when you are in the wrong you must just own up, accept it and move on. You dont start arguing and making excuses with the customer... and especially not a "Private Clients" customer.

Today ive emailed my private banker to downgrade my accounts to "Gold" and id like to see if i get a call with regards to following up on the accident, and assisting their customer with the repairs.

I do understand that this service is run by "Europ Assistance Worldwide Services (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd (“EASA”) " and not FNB.. but i belive FNB should still step in and assist their customers with any issues.

Hi there,

Just following up on this.

I haven't received a call yet? I have been using a spare phone until my new one arrived on Friday.

So so I have possibly missed the call, but can someone call me today?

Correct... that's my only number.

i did state that I was unfortunately using a spare phone until my new iPhone arrived.

I should not not have any problems receiving a call now.

Appreciate the assistance here
