FNB strikes again! Poor *********** service for the second time in 1 month!!

FNB strikes again! Two weeks ago mistakenly transferred a large amount into my petrol card meaning to settle my revolving loan. I realised my error almost immediately and contacted the premier suite call centre where I was assured that they would reverse the transaction within 24 to 48 hours. Fast forward two weeks and at least 2 follow up calls where the assurances of a call back were given, and I am told that they are still busy processing the request. I informed Patricia at the premier call centre that we would not be paying the installment of the revolving loan this month and that we expected to pay the settlement amount that would have been effective as of 48 hours following us reporting the incident (the time we were assured the matter would be resolved in) and was told I don't have a choice. Well, I disagree and I am sure the Ombudsman will also. As a client, I have the right to receive what was promised. I was told the matter would be resolved in 24 to 48 hours and it was not. I don't think it could be expected of me to be punished three times over, especially when the incident occurred whilst I was being a responsible customer. I expect to be contacted by a decision maker who will a) expedite the transaction reversal and b) ensure that I am not liable for additional unnecessary costs.

Reviewer Update
Good Day It is 48 hours later and I have not received a call yet with resolution to my complaint, nor has the transfer of funds been reversed. I repeat that I am not going to be held liable for these additional costs, due to the obvious lack of regard for speedy service and consideration for my convenience. Kindly note that should I not receive a call from a decision maker by 10h00 on 27 June 2018, I will be forced to resort to registering my unhappiness with the banking ombudsman, who will hopefully be able to make some fire under the procrastinators at FNB who seem to be under the impression that this is a matter to take lightly.
