FNB STI(Short Term Insurance)

Firstly I am upset that I have to take time to write this review , but maybe it can help someone make better decisions when it comes to their insurance. This FNB STI is as close to a **** as it gets .I am at this point obliged to ask people to go with any other insurance except these useless entity.

Let me give some background , they have never resolved any claim of mine ,everytime it is rejected due to some reason they fabricate and then they play it down as if you are the cause.If I take insurance I am aware that the policy has exceptions ,but if my claim is reasonable and makes common sense then I expect them to trust me if i can provide the evidence.Yet none of this matters as I just cannot get them to process any claim and I must pay on time. This is a one sided relationship and it is TOXIC. I can and will label them as A **** and this is my opinion based on my experience with this *********** insurer.

A few years ago i tried to claim for a gate motor , they rejected and i appealed . It took them 3 whole months to get back to me and then they wanted to assist me .I cancelled and moved on .If my gate does not work for 3 months do they even take my safety into consideration. I guess NOT.

I have now bought a house and there was a break in during the time where the bond needed to be registered .This means the house is not on my name yet ,but the policy was active . Yes, the house was empty for this while as it would naturally be.I called them and gave them all the details and i even went out of my way to make sure i can secure the premises best i can although it is not mine yet.They rejected the claim again now based on some senseless nonsence and telling me they did it based on their experience. So actually they are saying I am lying when i gave them the details and they are saying SAPS is lying as i provided them with the CAS number.The house is now without power or water and it is not in any condition to live in, so WHAT MUST I DO NOW.IS IT MY FAULT , DID I BREAK IN, Should i be an ******* occupant just for a claim to be recognized. If i took occupation early then i put myself in disregard for the law,appearantly doing the right thing also does not help. WHAT ELSE CAN ONE DO?????These people leave a bad taste in my mouth.I will fix the damages myself,i will recover,but they will never get another sent from me.FNB STI can bank on it that i will caution every client, family, acquaintance,any one i come into contact with that even considers any property or house or car that i will persuade them to not go with FNB STI.YOU are PATHETIC.

Look just go with any other insurer and prolong you life, this company is not worth it and they should be damned ashamed for this *** service they provide. I will for the rest of my life and hopefully it is a long one never recommend FNB again.I will also not take any new service from them as i cannot deal with this atrocious service ever again.

Truely the choice is yours dear reader, but i will never waste my time again on these ****MERS ever again.
