FNB, Still hasn't contacted me to assist with R30,000 SANRAL Dispute!

I did a once off top up using the SANRAL iOS Application at 22:23, 10th December 2020, and selected the pre-filled quick top up selection “R300.00” and input all my card details, the top up was a success but for some reason the SANRAL App took off “R30,000.00” from my account! Which is scary... I’m not sure if there is an issue with the application? And if anyone has reported this?

There was also no bank verification/ OTP for this transaction from FNB.

I logged a call/ email on the 11th December 2020, for the refund, It's now 5th February 2021, and I still don't have a definitive answer for when I will be getting my refunded money, every time I call in I get "You will get the refund within 60 days, if I don’t then I must log another call" this is just madness.. that a refund can take so long, no one can escalate my issue.. on one of the calls I was told the 15th or 18th February and now ive been told this is going to happen the 15th March…

Ive got 13 reference numbers for all the calls I've made as well, with no real help. The staff were friendly, but I'm still stuck without my money, for a mistake on the SANRAL App!

It feels like no one cares that this has happened, and clearly an issue with the iOS SANRAL App, I can imagine how many other people are in my situation?

To top it off FNB ***** and my bankers never stopped the payment, and have also been shocking with their communication around assisting me with recovering my money.

Seems FNB have at least done something here from this post, just got a text message "NB High Priority Complaint ref ********* been sent to Customer Resolution Centre ***. A consultant will contact you within 24-48 business hours."

Holding fingers something comes from this...

I received another text message now, the most action I've seen since December when I requested assistance around this "Your Complaint *********X has been assigned to Customer Resolution Centre. We're looking into it and will contact you shortly."
