FNB Stands for **** Service
FNB suspended my credit card without any proper notification due to FNB requiring a copy of my ID. Apparently the only communication was via email which has no guarantee of delivery. The card was suspended on Wednesday and we phoned the bank and sent the copy of ID to KYC on Thursday. Today is Saturday the card is still suspended and there is nobody who can fix the problem at the bank. Apparently there is a huge backlog to enable cards again, Probably because FNB suspends cards without proper communication, just a thought ! The callcentre lady could only escalate the problem on Saturday, surely if there is a backlog the bank should put in extra time to resolve the issue.
I am now left without a working credit card and the bank's great service is to basically tell me to live with it. If that is the service i can expect from FNB then it's quite an easy decision to close the account.
With your service i don't expect a timely resolution to this problem.
