FNB staff cannot stop a debit order properly

I Phoned FNB on 24 March 2017 to cancel my debit order. The FNB employee only asked for the amount tp be canceled, and I gave it to her.

She did not ask for the reverence number used for the debit order. You are the experts, you have to advise me how to cancel a debit order succesfully. I know I have to contact the service provider to also cancel the debit order, I did that.

Thing is, the debit order still went off. My problem is, that I paid R17.50 for it. The debit order still went off. I spoke with the service provider and I will bet getting my money back, but what about my R17.50 from you?

For my it is just a issue of principle.

I logged a complaint on 5 April 2017, 7:41 pm on the issue, and up to today no one phoned me back.

I phoned FNB this morning and did not get a friendly person on the other line.

She said that it is in my terms and conditions that I will not be getting my money back. The service provider and I sorted it out, I actually just paid R17.50 without you giving me a service.

I am really fed up with this.
