FNB: Sneaky **** or honest mistake?

Be careful, please. Read the fine print. I have been contacted by FNB SA to upgrade my check account to the new Fusion offering, and they laid out the benefits beautifully for me.

However, when the time came to sign the documents, I saw the interest rate was set to 13.75%. I recalled something about 12%, so I asked them to verify, and they apologized and said they will ask their pricing team to confirm that they should keep it at the 12% it was.

Luckily I did not sign yet.

Honest mistake, or *******ion? Not sure, but I still feel people should be warned.
