FNB Sneaky Fixed Deposit

Exploring options to invest in an FD. A few issues:

1. The website advertises a minimum term of 1 month, the app shows 24months. 2. The app does not let you choose which account the money must be taken from. 3. There is a accept and decline option. Apparently clicking accept immediately takes your money and opens the account. There is no summary view of the application, or a prompt to ask you if you are sure. Very sneaky and confusing. Im certain this is actually *******.

In short, I want the money taken for the FD return to me, and the account closed. If you can't do that, send it to me in writing, the OMBUDSMAN can advise on whether it was legal or not.
