FNB sms cause havoc for me
Hi,
This morning I received a sms at :59 stating my account is in excess.Kindly correct itb immediately or FNB will dishour. Of course I freaked out ..who would not? I was worried because I knew I had ample funds in all my accounts..what could possible cause this? I tried the digital customer service of FNB and provided only the times the lines open commencing to take calls. I made up my mind I am going to go into the bank have it sorted out as I know my credit rating could be affected. I have already searched the net what the above sms meant and saw in HELLO PETER other FNB clients in a similar position and just worsened than mine. What a dissapointing customer service from consultant, she was a bit irrited as I was asking valid questions as why did I received the message?what triggered it? Will my accounts close??? how would it be corrected...she just responded as I have sufficient monies in my account and could be a delay sms from FNB?? really and I responded that hopefully my accounts do not close. She was not able to validate the source of the sms. Really?? How does FNB send a sms that early. I called the digital call centre and told maybe it was a mistake by FNB?Maybe sent to the incorrect client?? Cannot afford such a mistake for the incorrect cleint. After all this I still have issues as my credit rating affected and nothing changed to situation, except a reference number I have received from digital customer servcie call which I requested. Not fun and games with my money. I am definitelt reconsidering!!
