FNB: Smart Block causing financial loss

Made a high value payment on Monday, Wednesday the customer is saying they have not received payment yet. Called FNB due to this, they advise smart block was activated, making the money sit in limbo. They never even called me to enquire, now i have to pay interest on funds sitting in the middle of nowhere, who will be paying for this cost?
