FNB - Smart Block

For whatever reason FNB takes it upon themselves to apply a smart block to my credit card without my consent. I do a tremendous amount of business overseas (as i import product) and utilise my card to settle many transactions. I have gone as far a to obtain SARB approval for the volumes that we do, but that has not even helped. I have now been on the phone for over an hour and have spoken with a number of persons in multiple departments and have been shoved from pillow to post as no-one can assist. Eventually, after an hour, a consultant determined that a smart block had been placed on my card (without me being notified of such) for which i now would have to contact the 'SMART BLOCK DEPARTMENT' to have it reversed/rectified. Number provided ***) just rings and eventually the line goes dead. This is absolutely pathetic that this happens. What disturbs me even more is that FNB takes it upon themselves to determine how i use my own hard earned money and what transactions i can or cannot do. If FNB will like to run my business i welcome them to come visit me and we can discuss this person to person, gloves off!!!
