FNB *****, Sithembiso Mhlambi Incompetence
On the 10th of January, a payment was made into my account just before 8am which few minutes after receiving the payment, I experienced loadshedding and network breakdowns as I was traveling. Client that paid panicked and asked FNB to put my account on hold until they get hold of me. We spoke after an hour and got an understanding that my account must be opened so we can proceed with business.Sithembiso Mhlambi from ***** Department is assigned as the investigating officer in the case and has failed me since the 10th of January, it’s the 15th and I’ve never gotten any call from him and I’ve been visiting branches since 10th January to get an update so I can continue with my life and make money, I am unable to survive financially as I bank with FNB, at this point I am extremely disappointed by the service I got. In my experience when there’s a complain, I should be contacted so my side can be heard and we can make a decision there. The complainant has provided affidavits and all documents to FNb for them to open my account but unfortunately till today nothing is happening. I call every minute to get my account opened but I’m directed to one person who is never available. I emailed him 10th January, I only got a response 2 days later. I responded and till now I have not received anything.
I am writing this out of serious frustration as I’m highly inconvenienced and unable to even make money to provide for my kids. Schools are opening tomorrow, I don’t have a bank account, I should have received my salary today, it bounced back because account is frozen. Can I get team leader to contact me as I really need to get to the bottom of this.
I won’t be loosing business, salary, my kids school because of an *********** FNB. There’s no such thing as having only 1 person being able to open my account
please note that I unfortunately still am inconvenienced by your actions. Blocking and account should be as easy as unblocking it especially when all documents have been sent and request made to ATLEAST GET MY LIFE TO MOVE ON.
I do not have a 9-5 job where I can sit and wait for money. I have to work everyday to make each cent possible. I have been seating with no income from 10 January, I did not pay my rent( I got an eviction notice), I did not pay school fees and stationary for my kids (they are home as we speak) I will have to run around and look for a school. I have zero Diesel bars in my car. My clients are not being serviced because I do not have a bank I can get them to pay into. So it’s my life that’s standing still, my family, my business and my finances.
Please do me a favor and close all my accounts with FNB, I will move my business somewhere and I will definitely send a legal Letter of Demand for the inconveniences and loss of income. Defamation of character will have to be listed because my name is dragged around as I have people I owe.
