FNB SIM : Selling False Promises!!

I recently got a Fnb sim , Mid August, and had to port my number from MTN to FNB sim. For the first couple of days I struggled to connect to the network and could not do absolutly nothing on my phone. I then called Fnb customer care to cancel my sim and move back to MTN but I was told I have to wait 60 days in order to action such, which I was never told when they first sold me the Fnb sim. I was reassured I can cancel the sim anytime if I m not happy with the service. The consultant then called me back assuring me that I will receive a call back within 72 hours to cancel my SIM card as she has logged a call on a faulty sim. Till today I am still waiting for FNB to call me back to atleast sort out my query or better yet cancel my sim and port my number back to MTN.

Worst of it all when I was sold the FNB sim , I was told I will only pay R52 monthly and recieve free voice calls every month , and because I only started using the Sim in the middle of the month, they will not deduct the full Amount, I will only pay a Pro-rata fee which will be much less.. On the 25th of August, to my surprise R112 was deducted off my account and no free voice calls were received. I am still experiencing bad network, The sim/network works only when it's on MTN LTE, which happens more at night than during the day. I then tried loading airtime using my Capitec account as this is the bank I save on for things like buying data and airtime, But I couldn't purchase anything as there was no option for FNB cellphone /network provider . So you can only buy airtime /data from your FNB account , if it happens that you do not have sufficient funds in your account you need to go to an FNB ATM and do a cash deposit to load airtime/ data ( how inconvenient is that!!!!!!!! ) . You are basically forced to transact using your FNB account and not any other channel when recharging ..; and keep in mind non of this information is disclosed over the phone when they are promising you all these wonderful things about the Sim . Not even a document stating the terms and conditions of entering into this agreement gets emailed to you or read out to you, because they just sell you false dreams..

Data does not last at all ( as the network reconnects every minute you busy on your phone) compared to MTN 1G which goes a mile stone , especially if you just have two apps which you are active on.. I don't even want to mention the airtime, it's shocking!!! Now I know why FNB SIM Data is so cheap, this explains a lot . One of the "benefits" I fall for when I was sold the FNB SIM. I am very dissapointed as I was sold and promised the best of it all, but It has just been the total opposite. I want to port back to MTN. I m forever missing important calls, I can't use my phone for atleast and hour without the network collapsing and trying to reconnect itself back. It is annoying and stressful. To those who are thinking of using the FNB Sim I would advise you to think again. it's not value for money. You would rather pay more for Data and minutes on trusted cellphone networks , as they are more likely to deliver on the products they sell to consumers .

I urge and plead FNB to call me back and attend to my request of wanting to cancel the FNB Sim and port my number back to MTN ! . I refuse to wait 60days to do this.. These past few days that I have been on FNB Sim , have just been such a hustle and can't take it any longer.. I have made enough attempts contacting FNB customer service to resolve this matter, and now I need this resolved as in yesterday!!!
