FNB : Sighs and Subversion

Ah, the saga continues. Again, FNB has shown themselves to be incapable of giving a definitive answer as to where my credit card is. After a complaint I lodged on Hellopeter on 27 May 2019, some poor, unfortunate soul called me back and asked whether I received my card. I would not have complained if I had, I told the clearly challenged consultant. I was met with a disinterested sigh and proceeded to lay into her. I did not want a call saying they don't know, I did not want a call confirming that consultants are not vetted by any means, I did not even want the 2 other calls trying to sell me life insurance or a new "Gold Fusion" account. It's a very simple query I've had since 23 March 2019 : Where is my credit card replacement? I suspect someone *****ed up really badly and is now being buried in the scurry to quell my concerns with copious amounts of apologies and misdirection. I shudder when I think that this bank has come to this, where a simple thing as a replacement card sends the collective 4 brain cells of all the consultants into a disarrayed cacophony of "uhm" and "eish". It is completely unacceptable for this issue to continue indefinitely. I expect an answer, I expect a capable consultant to assist me and I expect this to be resolved as hastily as FNB is to charge interest on a card I cannot use. Come on guys, it ain't that hard.
