FNB SHORT TERM INSURANCE NIGHTMARE!!!

I logged a claim for my 2 ****** cellphones on the 16th of August 2022, a gentleman by the name of Tumelo Pilane initially to my claim and asked for details of what had happened. All details were provided as in police report and more, he asked for some documentation and l provided.

He then in informed me that that he was transferring my case to a gentleman by the name of Shaldon Harilal (WORST). This guy only contacted me after sending an email complaining about his lack of communication. He then took through the same process and asked for the same information as the previous guy, but this time it was more of an interrogation and trying to prove that l was lying instead to assisting me with my claim.

Up to date l have not received any update from him regarding my claim, but when l initiate communication all he does is ask for some ridiculous information/documents that have nothing to do with the incident/claim. I have been sent from pilor to post trying to obtain impossible information and I suspect that the aim is to avoid paying out so he can get commission.

I have been banking with FNB for over 15 years and I have a bond, life cover, car/house contents/potable items insurance with them and l'm considering canceling everything with them because my loyalty doesn't count for anything if l can be treated like this for a mere cellphone claim.

I hope no one goes through this ordeal with their insurers, and I advise everyone to stay away from FNB!
