FNB Short term insurance - Car Insurance

Having suffered a very unfortunate event, I never imagined getting a claim sorted would be so much of a drag. Especially for such a reputable company as FNB.

I logged a claim on July 12, 2023, with Khelina Hlungwani, and to date I have received no feedback on the progress of my claim

I have reached my wits end with this company. I have called them several times to get the progress on my claim i keep on bing told that they are still waiting for the report from CIG, i then called the Investigator who told that he submitted the report to his Manager Mari Mayor on the 31st of July 2023. I spoke to Mari and she told that she is still waiting for feedback from the 3rd parties to conclude the report. They keep promising to resolve my claim but it's been over a month now without a car and they have never provided any form of communication aside from the initial confirmation that my claim was logged. I am in a dire situation here because i did not have a courtesy car benefit. Had i known that FNB insurance provides such poor service, i wouldn't have bothered to take it and stayed with my previous insurer.

The claim is still not concluded, and I am still in the same position I was when I logged the claim. without a car.

They told me their SLA for the claim is 4 weeks, it's over 4 weeks and counting.

I have been debited for a car that I don’t have because the claim took so long that my debit cycle concluded before they could finalise the claim.

I spoke to different consultants and after I asked them to escalate my request, they told me that they will return my call and until this day they haven't called me back.

I've sent an email again this morning to Mari to follow up on the status of the report and they still had not finalised my claim.

I just need the claim to be finalised. It's been over two weeks, and it seems like the call centre does not give a damn about the inconvenience I am currently experiencing.
