FNB seems to not know what they doing...

I recently tried to sign up for a premier credit card, since I already have a premier cheque account with you guys. However, after a lengthy application process via a telephone call, I was told that my application was being declined as it was only accepting me onto a private clients account. I told the consultant that I dont want to change to a private clients account and to cancel my application. I get a call today from CCD couriers informing me that my private clients debit card is ready to be delivered. Firstly, I app**** for a credit card and secondly I asked to remain on a Premier account. What is FNB doing? Not the level of competence I would expect from such a large institution.
