FNB *****ing me over
Companies like FNB do not give a damn about customers. We complain and they do nothing, except get rich.
Two debit orders were attempted on my account today, totalling R8100! As I do not have that kind of money just sitting around waiting to be ******, the debit orders came back as unpaid. Each unpaid debit order attracted a fee of R100, totalling R200. R200 I need to cough up through no fault of my own. Already FNB charges me almost R300 a month for bank fees that I still do not understand.
This is not the first time this has happened and FNB seems to be benefitting by making money off of people's fees they are forced to pay for these unpaid, unauthorised debit orders.
The R200 was in my account for an ACTUAL, legally authorised debit order for Netstar meant to go off tonight. So when that debit order does not go off, I have another R100 unpaid fee to deal with. Plus, I still need to pay Netstar.
I appeal to you to show me where I authorised these debit orders and, failing that, I want you to refund the R200 immediately. I am not making an unreasonable request. I should not have to be going through this ******* due to your lack of proper processes. I refuse to bear the responsibility for this as it is a result of FNB's (and banks in general) poor security processes.
Next thing you'll want to provide me with the contact details of the other ******* (besides yourselves) who tried to debit my account so that I can fix the mess. Over and above the R200 I am wasting money on data, airtime and petrol trying to resolve this.
FNB, do you even give a damn about people and the effects your actions or inactions have on us?
